Job Summary
The Retention and Sales consultants are responsible for new sales, retentions, cross-selling and educating customers on all products and services which include value-added products.
Analysis of customer feedback and account data, and negotiating with customers are critical to the success of this role.
Job Description
- Conduct outbound sales calls to existing and new customers to drive business growth (including cold calling).
- Engage with cancelled members to retain accounts and reduce customer churn.
- Educate customers on products, services, benefits and value propositions.
- Identify and execute up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Perform customer needs profiling, analysis and nurturing.
- Negotiate with customers to reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products, services, policies and SOPs.
- Provide feedback to management on customer trends and retention improvement opportunities.
- Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service and build long-term customer relationships.
- Ensure strict compliance with POPIA, DNC regulations and confidentiality requirements.
- Attend to ad-hoc duties as assigned by the line supervisor.
Education
- Minimum Grade 12.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in Sales or Retentions.
- Customer profiling.
