The AA Training Centre (AATC) is seeking an experienced Occupational Training Supervisor to lead and support the delivery of high-quality occupational and vocational training programmes within the motor industry.
Job Description
- Supervise and support technical trainers in the delivery of occupational training programmes.
- Coordinate curriculum planning, implementation, and operational delivery.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor assessment systems and tools.
- Ensure adherence to QCTO, SETA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Monitor learner progress and ensure assessment deadlines and expectations are communicated effectively.
- Support trainers with assessment methodologies, learner management, and record keeping.
- Manage training-related administration and reporting processes.
- Participate in the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Research emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance training delivery.
- Assist with budgeting and procurement specifications for training equipment and tool.
Education
- Qualified Mechanical or Auto Electrical Trade Test (Automotive Electrician preferred).
- Accredited Assessor.
- Accredited Moderator.
- Training-related qualification will be advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a qualified tradesperson in a relevant automotive trade.
- Minimum 5 years’ technical training, facilitation, and coaching experience within the motor industry.
- Experience in developing technical training materials will be advantageous.
- Experience in designing and developing learning interventions and training programmes.
