Job Summary
Job Description
- Develop, maintain, and enhance public web applications and the corporate website.
- Support and extend backend services using PHP and Node.js.
- Maintain online membership and product sales platforms and their supporting APIs.
- Manage and optimise PostgreSQL databases, including schema changes and performance improvements.
- Build, deploy, and support applications using containerised CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain WordPress websites, including custom plugins and integrations.
- Integrate third-party systems such as CRMs, payment gateways, and messaging platforms.
- Apply secure coding principles and ensure the protection of customer and payment data.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents while supporting release and rollback processes.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers within an outsourced IT environment.
Education
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS or Docker certifications will be advantageous but are not essential.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in Full Stack Web Development.
- Proven experience with:

- Node.js
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- PostgreSQL
- Docker
- NGINX and Apache
- WordPress development and plugin maintenance
- Experience working with cloud-based CI/CD pipelines and Git repositories.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and webhooks.
- Understanding of authentication, data security, and secure development practices.
- Exposure to AWS and payment gateway integrations will be advantageous.
