Job Summary

The Admin: Team Leader – ERS Operations is responsible for coordinating, implementing and overseeing administrative, procurement and financial processes within the ERS environment.

The role ensures accurate reporting, effective operational administration and compliance with governance and audit requirements.

In addition, the role provides functional leadership and oversight across key administrative functions within ERS to ensure consistency, efficiency and delivery.

This is a developmental role, providing the incumbent with structured exposure to operational coordination, reporting and process management, supported by ongoing mentorship from the National Manager Fleet Operations.

Job Description

Supervisory Oversight

  • Provide functional oversight and coordination to the following roles:
    • AARTO Administrator.
    • OHS Administrator.
    • ERS Operations Administrator.
  • Coordinate and align daily, weekly and monthly deliverables across all administrative functions.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency of reporting outputs.
  • Monitor workflow efficiency and adherence to deadlines.
  • Identify and address administrative gaps or inefficiencies.
  • Escalate risks or issues impacting operational performance.
  • Drive standardisation of processes and continuous improvement across administrative functions.

General Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and governance requirements.
  • Maintain high levels of data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Support operational planning cycles and reporting timelines.
  • Perform any additional duties required by the National Manager Fleet Operations.

Education

  • Matric (Grade 12) is required.
  • A leadership qualification will be an added advantage.

 

Experience and Knowledge

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in an administrative role.
  • Experience within an operations or fleet environment will be an advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of procurement and financial processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly strong Excel skills.
