AA Holiday / Health vehicle assessment Campaign:

This Campaign is offered subject to the terms and conditions set out below, headed “Terms and Conditions”.

Who can participate?

Participation is only available to residents of South Africa who are aged 18 years or older.

Employees, officers and contractors (and their Immediate Families) of the Promoter or of the agencies or companies associated with this Campaign are ineligible.

How to participate:

A. Take your vehicle to any of the participating AA Quality Approved workshops in the Gauteng region for a free AA Holiday / Health vehicle assessment.

B. An assessment will be conducted by a qualified artisan to give a current status check on the particular vehicle and to identify the current state of multiple vehicle components.

C. This AA Holiday / Health vehicle assessment is intended to assist the client in obtaining a fair and unbiased check on the current condition of their vehicle before going on holiday.

D. The AA Holiday / Health vehicle assessment does not impose any repairs to be done and the client retains the right to choose to be content with the state of the vehicle or to have repairs done.

E. A list of participating AA Quality Approved workshops in Gauteng will be listed on the AA website and published on https://aa.co.za/aa-approved/

F. The campaign will end on 02 April 2024.

Terms and Conditions

1. The total retail value for an AA Holiday / Health vehicle assessment is R1,250.00 (one thousand two hundred and fifty Rand) per assessment.

2. The AA Holiday / Health vehicle assessment will be conducted by the participating AA Quality Approved workshops within the Gauteng region.

3. The campaign ends midnight 02 April 2024.

4. The AA Holiday / Health vehicle assessment is subject to service availability at the participating AA Quality Approved workshops concerned.

5. Should the client elect not to have the recommended repairs attended in accordance with the vehicle Holiday / Health assessment, then the participating AA Quality Approved workshops and the AA shall not accept and cannot be held liable and/or responsible in the event of an incident occurring to the client’s vehicle, as a result of the client’s election not to proceed.

6. The AA Holiday / Health vehicle assessment is non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash, non-upgradeable and cannot be extended.

7. The AA Quality Approved workshops participating in this campaign reserves the right to cancel or amend appointment arrangements at any time and neither party involved in this campaign can be held liable.

8. The participating AA Quality Approved workshops and the AA cannot be held liable for any delays while awaiting the AA Holiday / Health vehicle assessment completion and/or the repairs being done should the client elect to proceed with the repairs.

9. AA Quality Approved workshops will conduct assessments by a qualified artisan who will inspect the vehicle and identify the current state of repair of multiple vehicle components. The inspection will not be able to identify latent or intermittent faults as it merely reports on the current state and should latent problems appear, it merely means that, at the time of inspection these were not apparent.

10. AA Quality Approved workshops and/or the AA cannot be held liable for latent or intermittent faults that appeared after the assessment has been completed.

11. No recourse can be taken against AA Quality Approved workshops and/or the AA following the AA Holiday / Health vehicle assessment unless authorised repairs were conducted.

12. Personal information of the participants will be collected via the AA Holiday / Health vehicle assessment app in order to complete the assessment. The participants details will only be used for the assessment being conducted. AA Quality Approved workshops and whoever else is involved will comply with data protection laws like the Protection of Personal Information (POPI) Act No. 4 of 2013.

13. There is no residual value, and no credit will be issued for the value of the AA Holiday / Health vehicle assessment.

14. The AA Holiday / Health vehicle assessment is not transferable, exchangeable, replaceable, or refundable for cash or credit and can only be used as specified.

15. Terms and conditions of the campaign are as written and cannot be changed by any representation of any unauthorized person, including the participating AA Quality Approved workshops concerned.

17. The Automobile Association of South Africa reserves the right to terminate, suspend and amend these terms and conditions without notice and at any stage during the campaign.

18. Please note that certain behaviours, including but not limited to cheating or fraudulent activities, can lead to non-eligibility from participating in the campaign.

19. In the event of technical problems, errors, or unexpected situations, all the Parties involved in this campaign are not responsible for any inconvenience or issues that may arise.

20. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising are subject to arbitration.
