AA Auto Centre Competition

Long Island Moving Pictures, AAAC Menlyn Marketing Campaign:

This competition is offered subject to the terms and conditions set out below “Terms and Conditions”.

Who can enter?

Entry is only available to residents of South Africa who are aged 18 years or older.

Employees, officers and contractors (and their Immediate Families) of the Promoter or of the agencies or companies associated with this Competition are ineligible.

How to Enter

A. Service your vehicle at AAAC Menlyn during the promotional period from 08 November 2023 to 06 December 2023.

B. Entrants will be handed a pamphlet where certain information must be filled in. Entrants will then submit the completed pamphlet with all required fields completed and with the invoice attached to it. This pamphlet must be dropped in the entry box at AA Auto Centre Menlyn.

The competition ends midnight 06 December 2023.

Winners drawn 13 December 2023.

The Prize

Clients who have their vehicles serviced have the chance to win 1 of 10 AA memberships. The competing school who referred the most clients have the chance to win a R10,000.00 service voucher.

Terms and Conditions

1. 1. The total retail prize value for an AA membership is R1,540 per membership.
   2. The competition prize is offered by AA Auto Centre Menlyn in collaboration with The Automobile Association of South Africa and Long Island Moving Pictures.
   3. The competition ends midnight 06 December 2023. Winners will be announced by 13 December 2023.
   4. This prize is subject to service availability at the AA Auto Centre Menlyn concerned.
   5. The validity period of the AA membership prize and the winning school service voucher is valid until 31 December 2024.
   6. This prize is non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash, non-upgradeable and cannot be extended.
   7. The AA Auto Centre Menlyn reserves the right to cancel or amend appointment arrangements at any time and neither party involved in this competition can be held liable.
   8. Notification and claiming the Prize. The pamphlet completed by the entrants will be compiled and numbered. 10 (ten) entrants will be selected as the winners by way of a random number selection by The Automobile Association of South Africa. Following the Prize draw, the winners will be notified using the contact details provided by the Entrant on the pamphlet. The winning Entrant has 48 hours from the time and date of the notification being sent to respond, provide proof of eligibility, and claim the Prize. If the Prize is not claimed by the winning Entrant within this time frame, the Prize will be redrawn, and any previous winners will forgo all claims to the Prize.
   9. The submitted pamphlets will be compiled and counted in order to ascertain the winning school by one of The Automobile Association of South Africa. Following the final count, the winning school will be notified.
   10. Personal information of the entrants will be collected via the pamphlet form completed in order to enter. The winner’s details will only be used for the activation of the AA membership and the remaining pamphlets will be destroyed. Long Island Moving Pictures and whoever else is involved will comply with data protection laws like the Protection of Personal Information (POPI) Act .
   11. There is no residual value, and no credit will be issued if the service amount exceeds the prize value amount.
   12. The AA membership is not transferable, exchangeable, replaceable, or refundable for cash or credit and can only be used as specified.
   13. The winning school service voucher is not transferable, exchangeable, replaceable, or refundable for cash or credit and can only be used as specified.
   14. Terms and conditions of the competition are as written and cannot be changed by any representation of any unauthorized person, including employees of Long Island Moving Pictures.

   16. Winners of the AA Membership prizes will be required to provide South African identity in order to claim the prize and is at the discretion of The Automobile Association of South Africa.
   17. The Automobile Association of South Africa reserves the right to terminate, suspend and amend these terms and conditions without notice and at any stage during the competition.
   18. Please note that certain behaviours, including but not limited to cheating or fraudulent activities, can lead to disqualification from the competition.
   19. In the event of technical problems, errors, or unexpected situations, all the Parties involved in this competition are not responsible for any inconvenience or issues that may arise.
   20. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising are subject to arbitration.
