The Automobile Association of South Africa NPC (the AA) Tyre Benefit Terms and Conditions (Referred to hereinafter as the “Tyre benefit” or “Benefit”) 

The Benefit is a tyre promotion wherein active AA members obtain discounted tyres and related products/services, via Hi-Q outlets.

By using the Service you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

We’, ‘us’, ‘our’ and like terms refer to the Automobile Association of South Africa NPC (‘AA’) (and where applicable our service providers) and ‘you’, ‘your’ and like terms refer to you, the person receiving services from us.

We may amend any of our terms and conditions at any time. The amended terms and conditions shall take effect from the date they are published on our website. Where there is a need for clarification of our terms and conditions, our reasonable interpretation will be deemed to be final.

You take responsibility for any person receiving any services from us also abiding with these terms and conditions.

All our terms and conditions contain the entire agreement between you and us and we shall not be bound by any undertakings, representations or warranties not recorded in them.

Please note that in addition to these terms and conditions the terms and conditions and privacy policy of our service provider also apply. If there is any conflict between the terms and conditions at https://hiq.co.za/terms-and-conditions/ these terms and conditions, the provisions of these terms and conditions shall prevail.

ELIGIBILITY

The Benefit is available to all South African citizens or permanent residents who are active AA members over 18 years of age.

To be eligible for the Benefit, the Hi-Q outlet will verify that you are an active AA member via the WhatsApp verification process.

The benefit must be redeemed in store.

BENEFIT

You are entitled to:

  • Discounts of up to 30% off recommended retail price on all accredited tyre brands, at all Hi-Q outlets.
  • Discounts exclusive services, plans, programmes, and accessories.

 

The Benefit is made available solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

GENERAL

In the event of any dispute arising with regard to the Benefit and/or these Benefit Rules including the interpretation thereof, our decision is final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Benefit is conducted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Should any of these Benefit Rules be deemed void or unenforceable, then that portion will be deemed to be deleted and the remaining rules will remain in force.

You acknowledge and hereby consent, as required by law including in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act, to the collection of certain of your personal information for the purposes of this Benefit, including contact details such as telephone number(s) and email address(es). We undertake not to sell, use or share this information to or with third parties, or for any other purpose than related to this Benefit, unless we have received your prior written consent, but may disclose the information if required by law.

We (and/or the Hi-Q Outlets) may require you to be identified and photographed and may publish such photographs in print and/or social media, or to appear on radio and television. You will be given the opportunity to decline the publication of their images and to participate in such promotional marketing material prior to us or Hi-Q using any material for the purpose as above mentioned.

We reserve the right to cancel, suspend or terminate the Benefit at any time. We shall have no liability whatsoever to the customer and/or third party arising from or as a consequence of such cancellation, suspension or termination.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • neither the AA, nor the Hi-Q Outlets shall be liable for any: claims, damages or losses (whether direct, indirect, general, special, incidental, consequential or punitive), expenses or costs (including, without limitation, costs on an attorney and own client scale) or injuries of whatsoever nature (together referred to as “Losses”), suffered by the customer or any third party arising from or as a result of this Benefit (whether directly or indirectly) and/or the customer’s participation in this Benefit; and

  • you indemnify and hold harmless the AA and the Hi-Q Outlets against any Losses, howsoever caused or arising.
